What you need: Paper, pen, and a small instrument to move around in a circle. Choose a poem, print it, and cut verses out of it.
- Start with the instrument. It must be one that can be moved around easily. For example, a cymbal, a small music box or a finger piano. The instrument gives the power to speak. Whoever has it can speak and they must use it in order to place thinking in a state of creative play.
- Go around the circle, play the instrument, and say a random word.
- Once the circle has been completed, repeat all the random words.
- Go around the circle, play the instrument, and say a random situation.
- Once the circle has been completed, repeat all the random words and situations.
- Place the cut out verses in a receptacle. Go around the circle, play the instrument, and pick one verse.
- Read it out loud.
- Once the circle has been completed, repeat all the random words, the situations, and the verse.
